Festive Friday - Santa, I Believe...

***This is my second post today... for my Make It Monday post, please scroll up!!***

Happy Friday! I hope you've had a good week? I am always happy when it's Friday, even though it isn't the same for me now as it was when I was working... I still like it that Friday means my husband is off for the weekend and will be with us during the day.

Being Friday, it's time for me to share some Christmas projects with you! Today's set is Santa, I Believe from Flourishes. This set is *stunning*. And completely intimidating.

I have seen such beautiful cards created with this set that have seen this image brought to life through colouring. I need to go digging to find my pencil crayons from my high school art days, because I think that's going to be the ticket.

So for today's cards, there's no colouring, because I knew I couldn't do it justice with Copics!

I love the silhouette... is that not the *perfect* Santa image? Like, PERFECT. Can't you just see the warmth and magic in those eyes, and hear that low "ho ho" chuckle??

And here's what it looks like in grey:

I did colour the holly on that one, and as soon as I did, I knew I wouldn't go any further with Copics...

And here is one using the beautiful Merry Christmas sentiment included in the set:

Isn't that paper like beautiful tapestry? It's from K & Co. though I can't recall the name of the line at the moment... I like the non-traditional colours of this one.

Now, normally I try to do an 'everyday' card with the holiday sets on Fridays, but this set really didn't lend itself to the cause. Saying that, as I type this, I am vaguely conjuring a "Good Luck" theme card using the "Believe" sentiment in the set, so maybe it could have been done.

That's all I have for you today... don't forget that you only have until tomorrow afternoon to enter my Giveaway!

Wow those cards are gorgeous. I think you were right to just stamp the image. Love the pattern paper on the last card.

Bothe gorgeous Santa cards, I like the vintage tones on the first, and I love the image in grey against the more traditional colour. Your sentiment based card is gorgeous too, love those papers, and beautiful bow.
